Our cotton Long Kurta Shirts are made from light weight smooth cotton voile and are hand wood block printed in India with a beautiful contrasting border design. They have a stylish nehru collar, a tailored cut and have 4 pretty fabric cover buttons to close the front, finishing just below the bust. Designed to be worn open or buttoned. Elegant and timeless style for any occasion.
Machine washable at 30 degrees using a non-bio detergent. Do not leave to soak. Hand made - every piece is unique! Strong colours may transfer to lighter fabrics.
Please note that all our products are hand made to varying degrees, and slight variations in size and shape are to be expected. Whilst reasonable care is taken during manufacturing some colours may vary from batch to batch. The stability and permanence of dyes cannot be guaranteed. All fabrics will change colour over time in direct light. Strong coloured items should be washed separately, and may require 3 or more washes to remove excess dye stuff.

Accacia prints are made by Anokhi for Chandni Chowk using the ancient method of Wooden Block Printing by hand on cotton. On average a printer would need to make about 300 impressions to produce one meter of cloth with five colours in the design. The end result is a beautiful and unique piece of fabric, carrying a little of the printer’s skill, creativity and culture.
