Our beautiful Pleated Overshirts are a relaxed shape, designed to be worn long and loose. They are finished with pretty hand embroidered details including pleating and fine 'ladder' embroidery. They have two slide in pockets and the option to roll up the sleeve with a button and fabric tab close.
The Red Ajarak print is hand wood block printed using natural dyes.

Machine washable at 30 degrees using a non-bio detergent. Do not leave to soak. Hand made - every piece is unique!

Please note that all our products are hand made to varying degrees, and slight variations in size and shape are to be expected. Whilst reasonable care is taken during manufacturing some colours may vary from batch to batch. The stability and permanence of dyes cannot be guaranteed. All fabrics will change colour over time in direct light. Strong coloured items should be washed separately, and may require 3 or more washes to remove excess dye stuff.

Chandni Chowk works with Rajka ltd. This family run company was established 20 years ago specialising in Hand Embroidery, one of the major hand craft skills of the desert Kutch region where they are based in India. Most of the hand embroidery is made by crafts people who work from home, often in beautiful but isolated villages. This allows them to maintain regular income whilst continuing their traditional skills and life style. Chandni Chowk has worked with Rajka for over 20 years, creating our own designs based upon the skills and style of the local crafts people combined with design input from the Rajka team.
