Our beautiful Bird Cushions are hand embroidered by Rajka in Gujarat, India. Each cushion cover has a piping edge and contrasting hand embroidery detail. The cushions can be teamed up with our co-ordinating home furnishings collection, or mixed and matched to give a eclectic style to your home or garden. These designs are also wonderful to give as an ethical, and truly unique, gift.

Machine washable at 30 degrees using a non-bio detergent. Do not leave to soak. Hand made - every piece is unique!

Please note that all our products are hand made to varying degrees, and slight variations in size and shape are to be expected. Whilst reasonable care is taken during manufacturing some colours may vary from batch to batch. The stability and permanence of dyes cannot be guaranteed. All fabrics will change colour over time in direct light. Strong coloured items should be washed separately, and may require 3 or more washes to remove excess dye stuff.

Chandni Chowk works with Rajka ltd. This family run company was established 20 years ago specialising in Hand Embroidery, one of the major hand craft skills of the desert Kutch region where they are based in India. Most of the hand embroidery is made by crafts people who work from home, often in beautiful but isolated villages. This allows them to maintain regular income whilst continuing their traditional skills and life style. Chandni Chowk has worked with Rajka for over 20 years, creating our own designs based upon the skills and style of the local crafts people combined with design input from the Rajka team.
