How to order & Pay
Order online and pay by card:
Make your choice from the web site, and follow the links to put items into your shopping basket, then pay at the check-out where you will be asked for your card details. We can accept payment from Visa, Mastercard and Switch (with or without an issue number).
NOTE Unfortunately we cannot accept American Express
SECURITY; When your order is placed on our web site, credit card numbers are encrypted using 128 bit encryption.  They are only decrypted after they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on any web site.

Order by email or phone, pay by card:
You can also place your order by email or over the phone. Once you have browsed our web site or visited one of our branches and have made your choice please make a note of the product name, colour, size and code of each item you wish to order. You can either:

If your order is from the UK and is in stock it will normally be sent to you within three working days (see our deliveries notes below for details). Please do not send cash. We cannot accept any cash payment for mail order or online purchased goods.

Worldwide (non - UK) Orders
We are happy to accept orders from outside of the UK:
We can deliver orders to any country in the world, the delivery cost will be worked out on an individual basis. We will not take any payment from you or dispatch your order until we have contacted you with the delivery charge for your overseas order and received your confirmation accepting this charge. We will use the cheapest and most reliable method of delivery we can work out for you, depending on weight and destination this will usually be either by courier or through the standard post.
To order you can either :

Order online Chose the items you would like to buy by adding them to your cart.
At the point of check out select the 'EU countries (not inc. UK)' or 'Rest of the World' delivery option. Your carriage cost will show as £0 on ordering - we will contact you separately with your individual carriage cost before any payment is taken.

Order by email or phone once you have browsed our web site and have made your choice please make a note of the product name, colour, size and code of each item you wish to order. You can either:

For overseas orders the only form of payment we can accept is credit or debit card
We will contact you to confirm if we have the items you have ordered in stock and to let you know the delivery cost.
Delivery Addresses (orders online or by email or telephone):
The cardholder's address must always be given.  If you wish your order to be sent to a different address please indicate clearly where you wish it to be sent.
Delivery Times & Charges: Product prices exclude postage and packing.

Standard Delivery
Total postage and packing charge of £3.50 per order, FREE delivery for orders over £100. For mainland UK if your order is in stock it will normally be sent to you within three *working days. Please contact us if you have not received order order within ten days, quoting your order number.
Mainland UK
Express Delivery
Please email us if you require a 'next day' delivery, we will reply to let you know if this service is available for your chosen item(s) and what your individual delivery charge will come to.
Non-UK delivery Overseas delivery charges will be worked out on an individual order basis. Carriage will show as £0 when ordering. Delivery times will vary according to destination and carriage method.

Please NOTE: If your purchase is small enough and suitable for posting we use Royal Mail, otherwise it will be set by courier. If you cannot be at home to receive the delivery it helps if you have either a safe place where the goods can be left or a neighbour who will take the delivery for you. If you are routinely at work all week consider having the goods delivered to you workplace if that is possible. Some companies have depots which you can collect from but others do not. Most companies will only attempt delivery two or three times and after that they return the good to us and make a charge. We find the majority of drivers helpful and considerate but they are very busy and the more help we can offer them the more likely it is that you will get your goods promptly.
Queries & Returns
Please note; Our returns policy for goods purchased from our Web Site (bought un-seen) differs from that for purchases from our Shops (bought as seen): 

Web order (bought un-seen) returns: We hope that you will be pleased with your purchase from Chandni Chowk. Should you change your mind about your internet purchase within 30 days, we will refund or exchange the item(s) provided that it is returned to us unused in its original condition including any attached labels.  This does not apply to items that cannot be returned for hygiene reasons (ie. earrings for pierced ears and cosmetic products). Reseal the packaging your order arrived in and return to us using the sticker with our address and your weborder number on which is enclosed with every order (this sticker is not prepaid). We reserve the right to discount the refund if the goods are not in the original, unused condition. Delivery charges on the original order are not refundable. Keep proof of purchase for any items you are returning as we cannot be held responsible for items lost in the post.

Shop purchase (bought as seen) returns:
We hope that you will be pleased with goods purchased from our stores, however, should you wish to return unwanted goods then you may do so up to 28 days from purchase provided that the goods are returned unused and in the same condition as when they were bought, in their original packaging (if applicable) and accompanied by the store receipt.
We will then issue you with a CREDIT NOTE valid for 1 year from the date of issue.
If you are uncertain about the suitability of goods please mention this to the person assisting you at the time of purchase. This will allow us to make a suitable specific written personal arrangement with you to make your purchase on approval. Sale or reduced price goods or items in special promotions are sold as seen and are not included in this policy. Your statutory rights remain unaffected by these terms.

Please note that all our products are hand made to varying degrees, and slight variations in size and shape are to be expected. Whilst reasonable care is taken during manufacturing some colours may vary from batch to batch.  The stability and permanence of dyes cannot be guaranteed. All fabrics will change colour over time in direct light.  Strong coloured items should be washed separately, and may require 3 or more washes to remove excess dye stuff. The setting of your monitor is beyond our control and if accuracy of colour is important obtain original item. For the full Chandni Chowk collection please visit our stores.
